To the ethnographical museum Sardarabad
On a sunny Sunday morning, we (the foundation members) decided to take the children of the Banavan village to the beautiful Sardarabad museum. This particular museum was chosen because its exhibitions include a large collection of interesting archeological items and objects.
The children were very excited; they were eager to learn about the Armenian culture and the Armenian history. They liked the hand-woven, colorful carpets in particular. The exhibition demonstrated how these carpets were actually woven.
Due to the favorable location of the museum, the Ararat Mountain could be admired. The museum was breathtaking; it had long, beautiful galleries.
After the excursion, it was time to enjoy a delicious meal. The members and the children enjoyed the barbecue. Thereafter, sweets and ice-cream were served to everyone.
A successful and educational day!
